It’s a Remarkable result at the London Brand Film Festival

Remarkable Content, our Public relations and content marketing division, has been awarded the Bronze award for ‘Issues and Crisis Management at the 2017 London Brand Film Festival, thanks to its work with Associated British Ports (ABP).

The health and safety campaign ‘Beyond Zero’, has already won a string of accolades including the ‘Employee Engagement’ award at the 2017 RAD Awards, and Silver for ‘Best Internal’ at the 2016 International Content Marketing Awards. This most recent accomplishment now makes the campaign a triple award winner, and one of the best performing campaigns for Remarkable Content to date.

Remarkable Content produced a hard-hitting film, as part of the wider Beyond Zero campaign, that featured at the first ever London Brand Film Festival. The film was showcased alongside branded content from the likes of Sainsbury’s, HSBC and John Lewis for their ‘Buster the Boxer’. The creative execution and high production values of the Beyond Zero film meant that Remarkable Content was recognised along with some of the biggest names in the business.

The Brand Film Festival celebrates the best use of video to tell a brand’s story, with 2017 being the first year the awards have come over to the UK from America. The one-day festival showcased the very best in branded film, hosting dynamic content sessions from a variety of craft, communications and creative speakers. The evening included a screening of the best brand films of 2016, as carefully selected by the expert panel of judges.

The Beyond Zero film is a key component of ABP’s campaign that Remarkable Content helped to support, which sought to reinforce ABP’s health and safety culture amongst its 2,000 employees. ABP works across 21 ports in the UK, and as such, Remarkable Content was tasked with delivering a powerful campaign designed to highlight the importance of health and safety at ABP, and support a zero-harm culture amongst ABP staff.

The award-winning short video was shot in the style of a cinematic film trailer, and was showcased in a 20-foot container, fitted out as a bespoke cinema. This container travelled around the many ports owned by ABP in order to effectively reach employees and drive home the fundamental message of workplace health and safety.

On picking up the Bronze award, Samantha Clough, one of our Directors, said:

Some of the names and brands we were up against at the Brand Film Festival had huge international audiences and appeal behind them – so to be rubbing shoulders with peers representing the likes of Shell, Ford and Adidas was a great achievement.”

The Brand Film Festival took place on Wednesday 5 April 2017 at the Oval Space, London. The winners were carefully considered and awarded by a panel of expert judges, including representatives from Barclaycard, Guinness World Records and Buzzfeed.
