Remarkable Group wins fresh silverware for Best Technology Campaign

Leading communications agency Remarkable Group has scooped a top prize at the South of England and Channel Islands PRide Awards 2014 on Friday 21st November 2014.

The CIPR Pride Awards was a successful evening for Remarkable, with an award in the category ‘Best Technology Campaign’ for ‘Can You Find It?’

The ‘Can You Find It?’ campaign was masterminded after Remarkable was brought in by recruitment specialists TMPW for a GCHQ recruitment push. The project involved an online treasure hunt to attract mathematical, code-breaking and ethical hacking experts.

Over the campaign’s six weeks, the recruitment website was viewed 371,269 times. It was ultimately mentioned in 122 pieces of coverage across outlets with a combined circulation of 111.8 million, including BBC Newsnight.

The GCHQ campaign also won Remarkable the Digital and Social Strategy prize earlier this year in the South West and Wales region of the PRCA Dare Awards.

Remarkable Group’s award win follows the launch of its brand new division on July 23rd 2014, Remarkable Content. The fresh offering was created from the merger of the former PR and digital divisions.

Remarkable Group chief executive, Stephen Pomeroy said: “The launch of Remarkable Content was a great success and a special moment for everyone at the company, so it is great news to find out we have been successful in winning a Silver Award in this category.

“We’ve had some very encouraging feedback about the new division from current clients and potential new business. Our success at the PRide Awards, shows how our all-round offering is being recognised for getting results.”

The CIPR PRide Awards is the only UK-wide awards scheme that recognises excellence in public relations and communications work across English regions. The winners of the South of England and Channel Islands PRide Awards were announced at a black tie dinner on Friday 21st November at the Bristol Marriott Hotel City Centre.

It’s been a busy year for the agency having opened its Bristol office earlier this year and completing the acquisition of Pendragon Public Relations, one of the UK’s leading infrastructure and energy stakeholder consultation businesses, in October, creating Remarkable Pendragon.
